These Corrosion Protection Test Kitsmeasure the OAT(carboxylate inhibitor) chemicals that are critical for proper extended life coolant performance. These test kits provide exceptional quality and value in the measurement of carboxylate inhibitors in a variety of coolants. It is an accurate way to test Organic Acid (OAT-carboxylate inhibitor) Extended Life Coolant (ELC) on-site. Thesetestkits aregoodfor use withall OAT-based (NOAT and HOAT) coolants. These testsmeasure OAT or condition levels of the coolant that would impact it's ability to operate properly. This kit provides the same results as the (328-OAT ELC TEST), just in a slightly more complex testing method.

Testing extended life coolant with these test kits will indicate if the coolant systemhas excessive contamination or if there is adepletionof neededadditives. Concentration (freeze point protection), additive strength (corrosion inhibitor), and level of coolant should be checked at the mileage intervals listed in the Scheduled Maintenance Guide.
