This Smart Bus Bar is polarity indicated and protected against reverse polarity hook up. There are two LED lights above each of the 10 DC charging leads.One Green and One Red. When the Green light comes on above a charging lead set this indicates that that particular battery id fully charged and can be removed and replaced with another battery in need of charging. No need to wait until all of the batteries are charged. If a red light comes on this is an indication that the battery hooked to that particular lead set is getting too hot or has too high of resistance. The Smart Bus Bar will automatically turn the power off to that lead set only and that is an indication to test that battery for a shorted cell or other problems.
