The Standalone Enhanced Breakout Box ships only with the Breakout Box itself. No cables are included. This part number is meant to be purchased as an additional tool that will work with the cables provided in the full Enhanced Breakout Box kit (164-R9881) or as a replacement to a damaged box.
Product Features:
The Enhanced Breakout Box is used for pinning out and testing the new, complex communication networks (in particular, the latest 26-Pin Gateway Module Connector) on Ford and Lincoln vehicles. The serial port is used to swap cables on the fly for diagnostics of any network issue that comes into the Service Department.
